For over 25 years, dataMate® has been designing and manufacturing high-speed solutions for the data center, wireline broadband access networks and industrial wired communications networks.
Known by reputation as “the copper experts”, dataMate® was the first to develop and market pluggable transceiver modules for high-speed data links over copper cable media. It quickly became the industry standard for pluggable copper transceiver module, and its popularity and versatility continues to grow. Today dataMate® is a tier-one manufacturer of high-performance copper Small For-Factor Pluggable (SFP) modules for speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 10Gbps. All are engineered to achieve data transfer rates rivaling fiber-optic speeds, while utilizing existing copper infrastructure and switch equipment.
Located in Chicago, Illinois, dataMate® has model shop capabilities on site which allows them to rapid-prototype new designs to test the market. Manufacturing is also done at the same facility allowing all their turnkey OEM solutions to happen under a single roof.
