10base-T to 10base-T1L Media Converter Adapter

Product Overview:

PoE media adapter is a Type-2 PoE to SPoE converter enabling the PoE to simultaneously send 10Mbps data while providing up to 19 Watts of power to powered device over single pair cable. Adapter empowers SPoE-PSE channel to interact with SPoE-PD through SCCP for power classification. Adapter admits the power from either PoE or external Aux channel depending on the variant. On board temperature sensor to screen the module temperature and control the power consumption. Flyback topology between PD and PSE offers 1.5kV isolation.

Device Configuration:

Media converter adapter derives two variants/SKUs distinguished by method adapter receiving power:

SKU-1: PoE – Accepts power on PoE channel only.
SKU-2: AUX – Accepts power on AUX channel only.
Both the SKUs shares the common PCB.

Supports Auxiliary input from 24V to 60V.
Supports blind compatibility / polarity correction on AUX input.
Provides 1.5kV isolation among:
- Input (PD) and output power (PSE)
  
  PHY Data channel and Power (PD/PSE)
Surge and lighting-protected Input/output ports.
On-board temperature monitoring.
Continuous monitoring of load current and disables output when load disconnected.
